Reader x KnB: Holiday job Takao's ending

Author's note: So I finally found some time to write. (maybe because I have holidays now ) You guys didn't tell me who you wanted next, so I just decided on myself. Hope you like my choice!!

“Whaaaat!?“, say both look at me like I’m crazy.

“Are we talking about the same Takao? The always not so funny idiot?”, Riko asks.

“Yeah. Is there a problem?”

Momoi asks “What do you love about him?”

All I can think of are this funny moments I had with him the last days.

“Even so he is very crazy, he can be really funny too and that’s what a good boyfriend should be like.” And I smile at them and they realize how much I’m in love with Takao.

“But (_f/n_), how do you want to tell him?” Momoi asks with concern in her voice.

Riko scraps the back of her head and says: “Takao is …”

Oh man, this will be fun …

Later that day




Actually my plan was to just tell Takao directly how I feel about him, but the problem is, that I can’t tell him when he’s nowhere around.

For two hours I’m looking for him. Nobody has seen him.

My new plan is to find Midorima. Takao seems to always hang out with him annoying him to no end.

There was the next problem. Midorima is also missing. It’s like they don’t want me to find them.

Already giving up I hear a basketball bouncing in the nearest court and I make my way over there to cool my mind.

“Hey, (_f/n_)!!”

Takao’s voice reaches my ears and as soon as I realize, who’s playing here, I face palm myself for being so stupid.

I’m really an idiot for not thinking of searching a basketball player on a basketball court. Today is not my day.

Takao runs over to me to greet, but sees the self judging state I’m in right now.

“Is everything alright?”

Getting out of my trance my head shots up.

“Y-yeah, it’s nothing.”

“Mhm, you still look depressed. … I know how to cheer you up!”

With that he grabs my arm, takes his bag and runs out of the court. A few minutes later we arrived at another court, where Midorima and the other guys from Shutoku are practicing.

Hiding behind a bush, Takao pulls me next to him and puts his finger in front of his mouth.

“You need to be quiet or they notice us.”

“Takao, what are we doing here?”

“This will be so much fun”

I don’t know what he’s planning, but I have the feeling, that it’s something really stupid and idiotic.

Takao puts his bag between us and opens it, only to reveal water bombs. Many water bombs.

“Takao…”

“Come on, (_f/n_). You will make the first shoot.”

Knowing this will end badly, I shake my head. Takao only sighs, grabs one water bomb, grins at me and then throws it directly in Midorima’s face.

His expression is so hilarious, that both, Takao and I, extremely need to hold down our laughter.

This encouraged me to try this out, too. Grabbing another water bomb, I throw it and hit Kimura in the back. He spins around and turns his head in every direction, but he can’t find us.

This goes on for a while. Takao and I constantly change our hiding spot and we even created something like a double attack.

But our little game is suddenly stopped by someone grabbing the collar of our shirts and dragging us into the basketball court.

Ootsubo sets us down in the middle of the court giving Miyaji the bag with water bombs.

“Look who we got here. So you two think you’re really funny with your game here, aren’t you. Why don’t we show you how much it is on this side of the game?”

With that Miyaji hands Midorima, Kimura, and Ootsubo a few water bombs and begins to throw them at us. After what felt like one hundred of water bombs and many failed attempts to get away, they let us be and go away.

“It was worse it”

“Definitely!”

Takao rummages in his bag and puts a towel on top of my head.

“Thanks.”

Takao sits beside me and puts his head on my shoulder.

“No problem. I mean, I can’t let my new girlfriend get cold, can I.”

My breath stops and my cheeks turn bright red. With a swift motion I look down at Takao only to be meeting with his lips pressing against mine. After a while we part from each other.

“Come on, (_f/n_). Just say you love me, too.”

Getting out of my shock, I push myself up from the ground and begin walking away. At the entrance to the basketball court I slightly turn around grinning.

“You have to deserve it.”

Takao tries to catch up to while shouting.

“Just wait! Why don’t go showering together? Then I show you how much I love you!”
